Model 515 Twill - V2
Precision, spin, and feel—trusted by players from 3.5 to 5.0+
More Reach. Less Weight. More Power.
The 515 Twill V2 brings a new level of performance to our versatile elongated shape. Designed for players who want added reach without sacrificing control or maneuverability, V2 delivers a lighter, more powerful feel with the stability and consistency that define Thompson paddles.
At the heart of the 515 is our TrueFeel™ Tuned-Mass Sidewall Technology. By strategically distributing mass around the paddle's perimeter, TrueFeel™ creates exceptional resistance to twisting, a generous effective hitting area, and a remarkably consistent response, even when contact isn't perfect.
For Gen 2, we've refined the internal construction to reduce overall weight to just 8.1 oz while preserving the outstanding stability of our perimeter-weighted design. The result is quicker handling, more accessible power, and the predictable, connected feel of our raw Toray twill carbon face.
Combining the control of the original 515 Twill with the lighter, more powerful character of the 515 Uni, Gen 2 brings the best of both paddles into one refined design.
Built start to finish in Michigan, the 515 Twill V2 is made for players who want extra reach, balanced power and control, and the confidence to compete from anywhere on the court.

FAQ
Can I modify the grip easily?
Yes, the stock grip is the perfect base for adding an overgrip.
Want to add a Hesacore grip? No problem, it will easily go over the stock grip - you may however want to take off the original grip to keep the final circumfernce from getting too big.
To remove the stock grip, simply snip the end with scissors and then peel it like a banana.
Which paddle should I get?
816 Twill | Maximum Performance & Forgiveness
Our standard widebody shape and the best choice for most players. The 816 delivers a generous sweet spot, excellent stability, and outstanding all-around performance. If you're unsure which paddle to choose, start here.
515 Twill | Extra Reach & All-Around Versatility
A slightly elongated shape that gives you additional reach without sacrificing versatility. Perfect for players who want a little extra court coverage while maintaining a great balance of power, control, and maneuverability.
214 Twill | Extra Reach & Two-Handed Backhands
Our elongated shape with an extended handle, designed for players who want maximum reach and extra room for a two-handed backhand. Ideal for players who prefer a longer paddle and added leverage.
The quick answer: Choose the 816 for forgiveness and performance, the 515 for extra reach and versatility, or the 214 for extra reach and a longer handle.
